Venezuela - Expropiación de Empresas

Carlos Larrazábal, presidente de Conindustria dijo que el sector privado en Venezuela está deteriorado, y lamentablemente no se observa rectificación. En este 2010 se han expropiado en el país 234 empresas. Fedecámaras pedirá al Tribunal Supremo de Justicia pronunciarse sobre las expropiaciones.

Unión Europea a Obama: nuestros fundamentos económicos son sólidos

La Unión Europea (UE) insistió hoy al presidente de Estados Unidos, Barack Obama, en que los fundamentos de su economía son "sólidos" y su margen de crecimiento es mayor que hace algunos meses.
"Los fundamentos de nuestra economía son sólidos", afirmó el presidente del Consejo Europeo, Herman Van Rompuy, en una declaración conjunta con Obama tras la cumbre entre la UE y Estados Unidos.
En momentos en que algunos países de la zona euro afrontan problemas renovados por la crisis de su deuda, Van Rompuy dijo que muchos Estados miembros de la UE han aplicado programas de reforma para "consolidar sus presupuestos y prepararse para el envejecimiento de la población".
